Fire Alarm Inspector

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of fire alarm systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and functional testing of fire alarm systems, including control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues and complete minor repairs to maintain system performance.
  • Document inspection results, deficiencies, and recommendations in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Communicate inspection findings and corrective actions clearly to customers.
  • Work with service teams to resolve system deficiencies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Deliver professional customer service and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience inspecting, maintaining, or installing fire alarm systems.
  • Massachusetts and Rhode Island Fire Alarm licenses preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation and work varied hours as needed.
